CalendMed is a medieval calendar whose objective is to list all medieval fairs around the world.
CalendMed is a platform dedicated to Middle Ages reenactment. It allows enthusiasts to share and discover medieval events via an interactive calendar. By registering, you can add, manage, and delete your events, as well as save them to your favorites to print your favorite list. Join an active community of reenactors, explore, participate, and bring History back to life!
Every three months, a scheduled 24-hour maintenance will be performed to guarantee a minimum level of security and ensure site stability. Although access may be temporarily interrupted, all features and data will be restored after each maintenance, unchanged from their previous state.
1. Purpose of the site
The site allows users to create an account, consult an event calendar, add and delete their own events, as well as save events to their favorites to easily find and print them. By accessing this site, you accept these terms of use and agree to comply with the rules set out below.
2. Registration and account
2.1. Account creation
To add events to the calendar, users must create an account. When registering, you agree to provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information.
2.2. Account security
You are responsible for the security of your account and credentials. It is strictly forbidden to share your credentials with third parties. In case of suspicious activity on your account, you must inform us immediately. If you lose your password, it can be reset by contacting the administrator via the "Contact" tab.
2.3. Account deletion
You can request the deletion of your account at any time by contacting the administrators via the "Contact" tab. We reserve the right to delete any account in the event of a breach of these terms of use.
Attention : deleting your account results in the permanent deletion of all events (past, present, and future) associated with this account, as well as your favorites.
3. Use of the calendar
3.1. Adding events
Users can add events to the calendar subject to compliance with the following rules:
- Anyone can add events, it is not necessary to be an organizer.
- Events must be relevant and related to the site’s theme.
- Events must be real and correspond to legitimate activities, meetings, or events.
- Event information must be complete, accurate, and regularly updated.
- It is strictly forbidden to publish illegal, defamatory events or events that infringe upon the rights of others.

3.2. Cancellation or deletion of events
You can cancel or delete the events you have created. We reserve the right to modify or delete any event in case of non-compliance with these terms.
3.3. Prohibited event types
The following events are strictly prohibited:
- Events of a discriminatory nature (racism, sexism, homophobia, etc.).
- Events inciting violence or hatred.
- Events promoting illegal activities or prohibited products.
- Events unrelated to the theme of the site.
4. User behavior
4.1. Respect for other users
Each user must interact respectfully with other members of the community. Any abusive, insulting, or harassing behavior will be sanctioned.
4.2. Prohibition of illegal content and responsible sharing
Users are required to act responsibly when sharing information on the site. It is essential not to publish inappropriate, erroneous, or harmful content. Any failure to comply with this rule will result in a warning. If the user persists, their account may be permanently deleted without notice.
It is formally forbidden to publish any illegal content, including:
- Defamatory, obscene remarks or those inciting violence.
- Information or links to illegal content (pirating, malware, etc.).
- Documents protected by copyright without authorization from the rights holder.
4.3. Reporting
Users can report events or behaviors they consider inappropriate. Each report will be reviewed, and corrective actions may be taken, including content removal or account suspension.
5. Moderation and responsibilities
5.1. Event moderation
We reserve the right to monitor, modify, or delete any event or content that violates these terms of use, without prior notification.
5.2. Disclaimer of liability
The site declines all responsibility regarding events published by users and the consequences that may arise from participation in these events. Each user is entirely responsible for the information they publish and their own participation in an event.
6. Intellectual property
Unless otherwise stated, all content published on the site belongs to its respective authors. By publishing events on the site, you grant a non-exclusive right to the site to use, reproduce, and display your events for promotional or operational purposes.
7. Personal data
By using this site, you consent to the collection and use of your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. No personal data will be transmitted or sold to third parties. Only the site administrators will have access to your personal information as part of your account management.
7.1. Use of Session Cookies
To ensure the proper functioning of the site and its mobile application (PWA), specifically to allow you to remain logged in during your visits and after closing your browser, we use a secure session cookie with a maximum duration of 30 days. This cookie is strictly necessary for providing the authentication service and is in no way used for advertising tracking purposes.

We reserve the right to modify these terms of use at any time. Users will be informed of any substantial modification. Continued use of the site after these modifications will constitute acceptance of the new terms.
